Chelsea striker Diego Costa has hinted that he could return to Atletico Madrid in the near future.
The Spain international had a great spell in his debut campaign for the Blues last year.
However, he has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons this season after he threw a substitutes' bib at manager Jose Mourinho for being benched for side's game at Tottenham Hotspur.
Since then the Blues have been on the look out for potential targets upfront, and this has led to speculation that the talented forward could be heading for the exit door.
Costa has now given an indication that he could follow the same suit as defender Felipe Luis and return to Vicente Calderon.
"You never know - look where Filipe Luis is now. Life is full of surprises." he told The Express.
"I always wish Atletico the best and I always follow them, support them from afar."
The 27-year-old is expected to lead the line when the Blues visit Leicester City in the Premier League on Monday.
