Chelsea will reportedly look to appoint Manuel Pellegrini as their permanent manager in the summer. The Chilean has been tipped to exit Manchester City at the end of the season.
The Blues are currently under the control of interim head coach Guus Hiddink after Jose Mourinho was relieved from his duties earlier this month.
Spanish source Marca understands that Pellegrini's reign at City could well end in June with Pep Guardiola understood to be the front-runner for the job.
It is added that the Blues have chosen the 62-year-old as the ideal coach to take the club forward in the next campaign.
Chelsea are currently 15th in the Premier League with 19 points.
