Watford have renewed their interest in Fiorentina midfielder Mario Suarez, according to reports.
The Spain international had been linked with a temporary move to Vicarage Road earlier this month.
According to Sky Sports News, the Hornets have revived their pursuit for the 28-year-old in a bid to remain clear of the drop zone at the end of the season.
It is added that the Premier League minnows have proposed a permanent deal for the midfield enforcer, who has had a torrid time in Florence.
Quique Flores' side are currently in a run of four league games without a win.
