The 26-year-old has had his fair share of injury troubles in recent years and this has hampered his place in the first-team.

Sturridge has faced constant criticism over his injury situation and according to The Mail, the striker is likely to find a fresh challenge away from Anfield next season.

Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United are said to be monitoring the player's situation, and could go head-to-head in the race to land the talented marksman.

Sturridge has made just five league appearances for Liverpool this term.
