Barcelona make Hazard contact

Barcelona have reportedly made contact with Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard. The Belgian international has looked out of sorts this season, and this has led to claims that he may seek fresh pastures in new league this summer.

Don Balon claims that the Catalan giants had made a tentative enquiry on whether the Belgian would favour a move to the Camp Nou.

However, the 25-year-old was quick to rebuff the offer as he has set his sights on a switch to Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid.

It is also known that the former Lille star was not keen on competing with the likes of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez for a place in the attack front.

Hazard has netted just two goals for the Blues this term.
