Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is desperate to acquire the services of Leicester City hotshot Riyad Mahrez at the end of the season.
The Algeria international has been in prime form for the Foxes this term, and this has propelled them to the top of the Premier League standings.
Spanish source Fichajes understands that Atleti head coach Simeone is a huge admirer of the 24-year-old, whose stock has risen from a mere £400k to £30m this term.
It is added that Simeone has requested the club\'s hierarchy to do all within their reach to land the pacey winger this summer.
Mahrez has amassed 14 goals and 11 assists in the league this term.
