Chelsea are planning a £55 million raid for Roma's midfielder Radja Nainggolan and defender Kostas Manolas.
With Conte looking to be the next Chelsea manager it seems that he has already identified some transfer targets.  Nainggolan has denied claims that he is already in talks with Chelsea but the Belgian international, who is also wanted by Liverpool, admitted he "would talk" to chelsea if they made an offer. The 27 year old would be a great signing, with his fantastic range of passing and great defensive contribution; he would be the perfect box to box midfielder. Roma value him at around £30 million, a fee Chelsea could easily afford especially with the new TV deal coming in.
The other player Chelsea are looking to sign is Roma's 24 year old defender Kostas Manolas. He would cost less than Nainggolan and is rumoured to be worth about £25 million. With John Terry leaving Chelsea need a new defender to be the rock in their defence. Manolas would be a fantastic signing who would be very well suited to English football. He is fast and strong and wins everything in the air. And at only 24 years old, he will only improve.
Chelsea are planning to off haul 9 players which will open up the funds for these two players. Chelsea look to rebuild their team, after this seasons disappointment. These two could be the first of many players that join Chelsea in the summer.
