Diego Costa could remain at Chelsea

Antonio Conte will reportedly seek to convince Diego Costa to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer. The 28-year-old striker has been linked with a potential move back to La Liga.

  • Costa joined the Blues from Atletico Madrid last season, and played an influential role in the club\'s Premier League triumph.

    However, his second season has been average with most of his contribution coming after the turn of the year.

    It had been recently suggested that Costa could head back to Spain with former club Atleti, but according to The Mail, Conte is eager to keep hold of the talented marksman, should he be the next Blues manager.

    The Italian is also expected to hold talks with veteran star John Terry, who has shown the desire to extend his Blues stay.
