Liverpool are eyeing a summer move for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu with manage Jurgen Klopp unconvinced with the abilities of current number one Simon Mignolet.
Mignolet's future has been casted doubtful until he signed a new long-term contract earlier this season.
However, his performances have since then been rather average thus leading to suggestions that the Reds could seek to acquire a new shot-stopper in the summer.
According to The Express, Reds boss Klopp will look to pursue a deal for Sirigu as he seeks to provide ample competition to Mignolet for the goalkeeper's job.
Sirigu has had a tough time of late with manager Laurent Blanc preferring Kevin Trapp for the League and Champions League games.
The 29-year-old has earned 15 caps with the Italian national side till date.
