Injury-plagued Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is among the top targets for incoming Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola. The England international has had a difficult career at the Emirates with injuries denting his progress.
City head coach Pep Guardiola is expected to bring in a couple of fresh recruits in the summer as he seeks to stamp his authority on the club ahead of the next campaign.
Sources reveal that the Citizens could lodge a formal bid for Wilshere after Guardiola placed him at the top of his shortlist for the upcoming transfer window.
The Spaniard is also said to be confident of player's abilities despite his injury troubles over the past couple of seasons.
Wilshere, 24, has been tipped to make Roy Hodgson's squad for this summer's European championships in France.
