Bournemouth seal deal for Jordan Ibe

Bournemouth have secured the services of Jordan Ibe from Liverpool for a club-record fee of £15m. The winger has penned a four-year deal with the South Coast outfit.

  • The 20-year-old has opted to join Eddie Howe's team in the transfer window despite interest among several other Premier League clubs.

    Ibe joined the Reds from Wycombe Wanderers in 2011, and made his debut against Queens Park Rangers in 2013 at the tender age of 17.

    However, his chances very limited under coach Jurgen Klopp, and this offered him the chance to pursue his career elsewhere.

    The youngster appeared in 58 games for the Merseyside outfit netting four goals in the process.

    Meanwhile, Slovakian centre-back Martin Skrtel has ended his eight-year association with Liverpool to join Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
