New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has revealed his desire to keep hold of Juan Cuadrado for the upcoming campaign. The Colombian joined the Blues from Fiorentina in January 2015.
Cuadrado failed to impress under former boss Jose Mourinho and was subsequently loaned out to Juventus for the 2015/16 campaign.
Recent speculation suggested the 28-year-old could favour a return to the Old Lady where he netted five goals and six assists on the club's route to a fifth successive Serie A title.
However, Conte has other thoughts in mind, and is confident that the player will integrate to his tactical setup ahead of the new season.
"I am very happy to have him (Cuadrado). He is a player I wanted in Juventus and now he must come back and start to train with us. Yes, he is Chelsea's player and he will stay with us. If something changes you will know," he told reporters.
The Colombian international has appeared in 15 league games for the West London giants till date.
