Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola is in Manchester to work on finalising a move to Manchester United for his client, according to reports.

  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The Sun and Gazzetta dello Sport are both reporting that Raiola has flown to Manchester to try to get a potentially world record breaking move for Pogba over the line.

Reports emerging from Italy last night claimed that United have lodged a €125 million bid for the gifted 23-year-old, with €100 million being offered up front, and €25 in conditional add ons.

And it now appears that Raiola -- who is also the agent of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan who both joined United this summer --is in Manchester to help push the deal through.

New Red Devils boss José Mourinho has identified Pogba as a key target this summer, having already secured the capture of Eric Bailly, Ibrahimovic and Mkhitaryan.

It is believed that Mourinho tried to sign Pogba for Chelsea last summer, and he cas carried his admiration of the Frenchman into his new role at United.

Pogba previously played for United as a teenager, but left the club in 2012, having grown frustrated at the lack of first team opportunities he was afforded under then manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Pogba became a key player for Juventus and has won the Serie A title in each of his four seasons in Turin.

The latest reports suggest Mourinho may be about to finally get his man.
