Italian champions Juventus have rejected an opening bid from Manchester United for star midfielder Paul Pogba. The France international has been heavily linked with a return to Old Trafford this summer.
Pogba, 23, joined the Old Lady on a free transfer from United in 2012, and has since transformed into one of Europe's most sought-after midfielders.
The Red Devils had recently tabled an £85m bid for Pogba with manager Jose Mourinho desperate to integrate the player to his squad ahead of the new campaign.
However, Sky Sports News says the Turin giants have swiftly rebuffed the offer as they are reluctant to accept anything less than £100m for their key performer.
Agent Mino Raiola is currently owed 25 percent of the transfer sum, and this has urged the Old Lady to up their valuation.
Gareth Bale is currently the world's most-expensive footballer having joined Real Madrid for an £85m sum in 2013.
