29 July 2016 - 07:36

Manchester United have decided to offload Bastian Schweinsteiger in the current transfer window. The German failed to impress following his move from Bayern Munich last year.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao

  • The 31-year-old surprised one and all last summer when opted to end his 17-year association with Bayern to join the Old Trafford outfit.

He followed to struggle with numerous injuries and severe lack of fitness, and this dented his chances of earning regular first-team action.

Jose Mourinho has recently held a meeting with the club\'s hierarchy, and it is thought that Schweinsteiger is among the players who could leave the club over the summer.

Apart from Schweini, the likes of Adnan Januzaj, Andreas Pereira, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, James Wilson, Paddy McNair, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Tyler Blackett and Will Keane could be heading through the exit door.

Meanwhile, United are reported to have settled a world-record agreement with Juventus for French sensation Paul Pogba.
