Arsenal striker Theo Walcott is likely to be headed for an exit away from the Emirates after Arsene Wenger told the England international that he is likely to be the third choice striker for the upcoming Premier League campaign. Walcott has struggled to impress in pre-season friendlies for the Gunners.
Walcott, who played in yesterday's tie against MLS All Stars in the United States, is desperate to prove his worth as a forward but continued struggles in front of goal means that the forward is likely to leave Arsenal.
The striker is still highly rated by Arsene Wenger, but the Frenchman is yet to be convinced that Walcott can lead his line ahead of the likes of Olivier Giroud.
With Arsenal continuously linked with new strikers in the transfer window, the Gunners need to make a decision on Theo's future and the likes of Leicester City and Sunderland are both rumoured to have shown interest in the player.
