Adnan Januzaj is set to seal a loan move to Sunderland, with the Belgian youngster unhappy at how he has been treated by manager José Mourinho, according to reports.

  • Widespread reports in the English press this morning claim that Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj is set to seal a season long loan deal to Sunderland, with new Black Cats boss Davis Moyes keen on re-uniting with the 21-year-old, whom he gave a debut during his ill-fated stint in charge at Old Trafford three seasons ago.Januzaj is reportedly unhappy with the way he has been treated by new United manager José Mourinho.

    The talented attacker has been made to train with the reserves as he does not figure in Mourinho’s plans for this season.Unwilling to use the reserve team changing room, Januzaj has been arriving at United’s AON Training Centre in Carrington, Greater Manchester, already dressed in his training kit.Januzaj was one of the few bright sparks during Moyes’s season in charge of United, having made his debut in the Community Shield victory over Wigan.

    One of Januzaj’s finest performances for the Red Devils came in a 2-1 win over Sunderland, in which the then 18-year-old scored both goals.Sunderland have already secured the double signing of United youngsters Paddy McNair and Donald Love for a joint fee of £5 million.
