West Ham United have failed in their attempts to lure AC Milan Carlos Bacca to the club this summer. The Hammers had earlier had a £26m bid accepted for the player.
Bacca has been the prime target for the Hammers this summer with manager Slaven Bilic keen on recruiting a marquee marksman to his ranks.
According to The London Evening Standard, the move have reached a dead end after Bacca refused to negotiate personal terms with the East London outfit.
New Milan boss Vincenzo Montella had urged Bacca to stay put at the Rossoneri this month, and this seems to have had a teller effect on the player's decision.
With Bacca remaining at the San Siro, a move for Chelsea's Juan Cuadrado looks highly unlikely, given the Rossoneri have no funds in hand.
The 29-year-old was ever-present in the Serie A last season, netting 18 goals in the process.
