  • City boss Pep Guardiola has been hot on the trail of the Chilean in recent weeks as he bids to bring in keeper better suited to his tactical setup.

Spanish outlet Sport claims that Bravo has finalized a deal with the Citizens, and it remains for the clubs to negotiate a fee for his transfer.

Bravo currently has a £37m release in his contract, but City are confident of settling on a £22m sum for his signature.

The 33-year-old has appeared in 72 games for Barca since moving from Real Sociedad in 2014. His arrival at the Etihad is likely to coincide with the departure of long-standing keeper Joe Hart.
