Everton have reportedly began negotiations with Newcastle United over a potential deal for French attacker Moussa Sissoko. The Toffees are open to recruiting at least three players before the transfer deadline.
Sissoko was in top form for France at this summer's European championships, and this has caught the eye of a whole host of clubs.
According to The Mirror, Toffees officials have held discussions with Sissoko's representatives regarding a possible transfer.
The 27-year-old remains a key player for the Tyneside outfit, but a bid of around £35m would be sufficient to convince the Magpies into a sale.
Sissoko has racked over 130 games for Newcastle United since his switch from Toulouse in January 2013.
Meanwhile, Everton have been busy in the transfer window, bringing in four players in Maarten Stekelenburg, Idrissa Gueye, Ashley Williams and Yannick Bolasie.
