West Ham tracking Cesc Fabregas

Fabregas on Hammers radar

West Ham tracking Cesc Fabregas

25 September 2016 - 07:09

West Ham United are tracking the situation of Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas with a view to a winter bid for services. The Spain international is no longer a regular at Stamford Bridge.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Fabregas, 29, has seen his playing time cut short this season with manager Antonio Conte favouring the likes of N'Golo Kante, Nemanja Matic and Oscar ahead of him in the starting line-up.

Slaven Bilic's side have had a dismal start to the campaign, and they are on the look out for a new playmaker in the form of Fabregas, The Mirror reports.

The Hammers will keep a close eye on the midfielder's status in the coming months before lodging an attempt to lure him to the London Stadium.

Fabregas was largely disappointing in the 3-0 defeat at Arsenal (his first league start of the campaign), and was eventually subbed in the early minutes of the second-half.
