Manchester United outcast Matteo Darmian has agreed terms over a winter move to Serie A side Inter Milan. The 26-year-old has yet to make a Premier League start under Jose Mourinho this term.
Darmian has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford just a year after he made his switch from Torino.
Tuttosport claims that the Italy international has finalized a transfer to the Nerazzurri after it became evident that the Special One would sign a new right-back in January.
Antonio Valencia has owned the right-back position this season with Timothy Fosu-Mensah acting as his back-up, and this has seen Darmian warming the substitutes' bench.
Serie A holders Juventus and AC Milan have also been linked with the player's signature, but it is Frank de Boer's side, who have convinced Darmian into a winter deal.
Darmian has made a solitary appearance for Manchester United in the Europa League where they lost out to Feyenoord.
