Arsenal will consider a move for Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus, should Alexis Sanchez decide to leave the Emirates next summer.
The Chilean is currently in a contract standoff with the Gunners following their reluctance to match his wage demands.
According to The Mirror, manager Arsene Wenger has lined up Reus as a possible option to replace Sanchez, who has stalled on negotiations over a fresh contract.
Sanchez, 27, is said to be demanding wages of around £200,000-a-week, and this is well beyond what the Gunners are willing to offer (£160,000-a-week).
German international Reus has been long linked with a move to the Gunners, and it is believed that a fee of around £30m would be sufficient to lure him to North London next season.
Arsenal are currently fourth in the league standings after a run of 11 games without a defeat.
