Manchester United are reportedly planning to offload Luke Shaw at the end of the season, Jose Mourinho does not see the full-back in his plans for the future.
Shaw has had a tough spell at Old Trafford this season, and he may have to follow the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay through the exit in order to revive his career.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Red Devils have identified Marseille's Benjamin Mendy as a future replacement for the England international.
The France under-21 footballer only inked a five-year deal in June 2016, but this will not deter Manchester United from testing the club's resolve in the summer.
Napoli are also said to be interested in the right-back, but their decision to stall an approach until the summer could put United at advantage in the pursuit.
Shaw last featured for Manchester United during the 4-1 win over West Ham United in the EFL Cup quarterfinals.
