Man Utd boss to sanction Januzaj sale at cut-price deal

19 January 2017 - 08:14

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is prepared to offload winger Adnan Januzaj for a bargain price once he returns from his loan spell at Sunderland.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The 21-year-old, who is currently playing for Sunderland on a season-loan loan has been linked with a potential move to Ligue 1 with Lyon.

According to The Sun, Mourinho has decided to cut short the player's valuation which was initially £15m at the start of the season.

The Belgian international will be allowed to leave United for just £8m in the summer, and this could allow David Moyes' side to enter the race for his services.

Januzaj, who joined the United youth system from Anderlecht in 2011, has just 18 months left on his existing contract at Old Trafford. He has notched a solitary assist for Sunderland in all competitions this season.
