Premier League giants Arsenal are said to have revived their interest in Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann amid interest from Manchester United.
Atleti had turned down a £60m offer from the Gunners for Griezmann after Euro 2016 as he had just inked a long-term deal with the club.
According to The Mail, the North London outfit are still keeping a keen eye on the player's situation with the club's hierarchy willing to match his £86m release clause in the summer.
The Gunners have been reluctant to spend massive sums on players over the years, but it appears that Griezmann's arrival could convince the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil to remain at the Emirates.
League rivals Manchester United are for now in the front seat to land the France international with national teammate Paul Pogba trying to use his influence to lure the 25-year-old to Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, reports elsewhere suggest that Atletico Madrid could seek to recruit Alexis Sanchez as a potential replacement for Antoine Griezmann at the end of the campaign.
