Man Utd, Chelsea to vie for Keylor Navas?

29 January 2017 - 11:09

Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea could fight it out for the services of Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas in the summer.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • The Costa Rica international is currently in talks over a move to Juventus, but the English pair could yet intervene in the negotiations.

According to The Star, both the Red Devils and the Blues are keeping an eye on the experienced shot-stopper with Real Madrid likely to prise away one of David de Gea or Thibaut Courtois next season.

Navas has been an excellent servant for the Bernabeu giants in recent seasons, but Zinedine Zidane is said to want a world-class keeper with whom he could work for the long-term.

De Gea was previously the preferred target for the European champions, but it is now reported that Courtois has also been added to Los Blancos' wishlist.

Navas has appeared in 12 league outings for Real Madrid this term, keeping three clean sheets in the process.
