Sunderland have confirmed the double signing of Bryan Oviedo and Darron Gibson from Premier League side Everton.
The Black Cats boss David Moyes is reunited with the Toffees duo, who have struggled for first-team action during the ongoing campaign.
Gibson linked up from Manchester United during Moyes' Everton reign in January 2012, whilst Oviedo did the same from Copenhagen six months later.
The pair had been restricted to regular playing time under Ronald Koeman this term, and this convinced them to make the move to Wearside where they could earn a regular run under Moyes.
Oviedo is likely to take up the left-back role in place of Patrick van Aanholt who joined Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, Gibson will earn himself the chance to become a regular at the heart of the midfield.
Sunderland are yet to reveal the transfer fees for either player but they seem to have made a decent business from the money gained from Van Aanholt's sale.
