Premier League leaders Chelsea are apparently favourites to sign unsettled Manchester City star Sergio Aguero in the summer.

The 28-year-old feels unappreciated by City boss Pep Guardiola after he was dropped for a young Gabriel Jesus in the starting lineup.

Aguero has already told his close friends that he could move on, and according to The Mail, the Blues have emerged as frontrunners to land the marksman.

The Argentine did share a good bond with Diego Costa at former club Atletico Madrid, and two could yet be reunited at Stamford Bridge if the latter decides to stay put beyond the summer.

Costa has been constantly linked with a lucrative switch to the Far East, and a move for Aguero may well be dependent on Costa\'s plans for next season.

Aguero has already netted 18 goals for Manchester City this campaign, but his recent struggles have ignited speculation over his future.

Manchester City are said to be reluctant to offload Aguero for the coming season, and they could accept offers of around &pound75m for their striker.
