Premier League giants Arsenal face a tough task of luring manager Max Allegri from Juventus amid reported interest from Barcelona.

  • The Gunners are due to replace Arsene Wenger during the summer period with the Frenchman having literally made up his mind for a fresh challenge elsewhere.

Allegri has been associated with the Gunners role in recent weeks, though he has dismissed the speculation, and according to The Express, Barca have entered the race.

Barca are currently assessing the future of Luis Enrique, whose contract is due to expire this summer - following an average campaign which is likely to see them miss out on the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Spanish champions received a 4-0 humbling at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16, first-leg, and this sees them literally out of the tie.

Meanwhile, the club also face a tough task of retaining the La Liga title as they face a must-win game at Atletico Madrid later tonight.

Barcelona are currently a point adrift of Real Madrid, who have a game in hand against Celta Vigo.
