Both Manchester City and Barcelona are said to be keen on signing Southampton's right full-back Cedric Soares.
The 25-year-old has impressed for club and country over the past year having lifted the Euro 2016 title with Portugal while ending runners-up with Southampton in the EFL Cup.
Claude Puel's side are expected to be under immense pressure this summer with both Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Bertrand wanted by a host of elite clubs, and it appears that Soares is the next on the list.
Barca are said to want Cedric to replace Dani Alves, who had left Camp Nou prior to the start of the season. Meanwhile, City see the right-back as the perfect successor to Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna, whose contracts are due to expire in the summer.
Soares joined the Saints from Sporting for just £3.6m in 2015, but the club are expected to demand at least £20m for his sale, given his exponential rise in the last 12 months.
