Manchester City are reportedly monitoring Alexis Sanchez's situation at Arsenal ahead of a potential move for his services this summer.
The Chile international has been in a contract standoff with the Gunners since the backend of last season, and this has further intensified speculation over his future.
Sanchez currently has about 15 months left on his existing contract and Arsene Wenger has suggested that the club will make a decision on the Chilean during the off-season.
The likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have both been credited with interest for the attacker in recent days, but according to The Telegraph. the Citizens could exploit the Chilean's reluctance to extend his Gunners contract.
Pep Guardiola shared a fruitful bond alongside Alexis Sanchez at former club Barcelona, and he will seek to lure the forward to the Etihad where he has managed to develop a youthful side with promise.
Sergio Aguero has been recently touted to leave the Citizens despite his impressive goalscoring form, and Sanchez could be tipped to replace the Argentine.
