West Ham United have added Everton ace Gerard Deulofeu to their shortlist as they plan a major summer overhaul at the London Stadium.
The 23-year-old struggled to establish himself as a regular under Ronald Koeman during the first half of the campaign, and this tempted him to move to AC Milan in the pursuit of playing time.
Deulofeu has since become a huge hit with the Rossoneri for whom he has notched a goal and three assists thereby earning him a call-up to the Spain squad after a three-year wait.
The Star claims that the Hammers are keeping a close watch on the former La Masia student who could be brought in to replace one of the club's fringe players.
The likes of Havard Nordtveit, Gokhan Tore and Jonathan Calleri have failed to impress during the ongoing campaign, and they could be shipped out in order to accommodate finances for summer recruits.
Nevertheless, Slaven Bilic's could have a battle against the mighty Barcelona, who have the option to buy back Deulofeu for a sum of around £10.7m this summer.
