Milan giants keen on Yaya Toure

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure could be the subject of interest from both AC Milan and Inter Milan when the transfer window reopens in July.

  • The 33-year-old is currently in the final months of his Citizens contract, and it is understood Pep Guardiola would allow him to leave in order to accommodate a younger replacement.

A report from The Sun claims that the Ivorian could head to the Serie A in the summer amid strong interest from both the Rossoneri and the Nerazzurri.

The San Siro pair are expected to spend big during the summer transfer window with their respective owners keen to push for honours in domestic as well as European competitions in the future.

Toure had been linked with a proposed move to Inter last summer whilst Roberto Mancini was still in charge, and this holds them at a slight advantage in the pursuit of the veteran.

The former Ivory Coast international snubbed a lucrative move to the Chinese Super League during the winter period, and this states his ambition to feature in Europe for a couple more seasons before calling quits on his professional career.
