West Ham striker Andy Carroll is reportedly a shock transfer target for his former club Newcastle United. The newly promoted Premier League side have been promised a budget of over 8192100m to spend on new players this summer.
According to reports from multiple Internet forums, Carroll is being targeted for a summer move by manager Rafa Benitez who will be responsible for rebuilding the squad of Newcastle for the Premier League next season. Carroll previously started his career as a youngster with the Toon Army, before making a move to Liverpool in a mega money deal. After an unsuccessful spell at Anfield, Carroll made a move to his current club West Ham. He has two years remaining on his current contract. Newcastle are hoping to wrap up a deal as soon as possible for the burly forward. 20
