Sanchez eyeing Real move?

Sanchez wants to replace Ronaldo at Real Madrid

21 June 2017 - 10:05

Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez could reportedly push for a move to Real Madrid, should Cristiano Ronaldo end his association with the European champions.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Ronaldo has been alleged of tax fraud over the past week, and this has spread speculation that he could leave the Bernabeu for a Manchester United return.

Spanish outlet Don Balon claims that the 28-year-old fancies a move to Madrid as he looks to reach greater heights in a successful career.

Sanchez had a top campaign with the Gunners last season where he bagged 30 goals and 15 assists, but this has not brought a sense of satisfaction after the club missed out on the Champions League.

Manchester City and Bayern Munich have also been credited with an interest in the former Barcelona man, and a final decision over his future is likely to be taken after the Confederations Cup.

Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger is pushing for a move to sign Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette as he looks to convince Sanchez to extend his Emirates deal beyond 2018.
