The praise bestowed upon Real Madrid by Barcelona boss and counterpart Frank Rijkaard has been ignored by Madrid boss Bernd Schuster, who considers the comments a feeble mind game designed to get into the minds of his own players.
"Rijkaard is very intelligent and he is doing it very well, but I believe that to he cannot effect a team like Real Madrid with his words. We know his game, it is all ok because it is legal but we just concentrate on ourselves. Most important it for us to win against Valladolid," he told the gathered press.
"Barcelona are tonight and that is far less of concern for me than preparing for our game tomorrow. They are able to win in Seville but the most important thing is that we get our win."
