Barcelona's sporting director Txiki Begiristain believes that the club will benefit from a good relationship with the Cameroonian FA to ease the pressure on striker Samuel Eto'o in the African Cup of Nations to help Barca with their Primera Liga run in battle with rivals Real Madrid.
Barça are also hoping to benefit from Cameroon's protective attitude towards Eto'o and their sporting director Txiki Begiristain believes that he will be in good physical shape on his return to Barcelona.
"I saw a lot of good things on the physical side despite the fatigue caused by the matches. Those shifts of position help him to recover and not wear out as much," he told Marca after a telephone conversation with the twenty-six year old.
