Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is wanted by Borussia Dortmund as a replacement for Barcelona's new signing Ousmane Dembele. Alexis Sanchez is entering the final 12 months of his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Sanchez has so far refused to sign a new contract with Arsene Wenger's side and has been linked with a move to Manchester City in recent weeks; however Arsenal manager Wenger does not want to sell the Chile international to a bitter rival and would prefer to ship Sanchez abroad if possible.
Dortmund were recently the recipient of 150 million euros for the sale of Ousmane Dembele to Barcelona and will be looking to spend around half of that to secure a deal for Arsenal's best player.
Sanchez has insisted that he wants to leave Arsenal, despite the Gunners having made a new contract offer of £250,000 but is known to favour a move to Man City in order to link up with his former manager at Barca, Pep Guardiola.
Dortmund have been busy preparing a list of transfer targets in the wake of Dembele's departure and club representatives would love to make Sanchez their new forward for this Bundesliga campaign.
