Jurgen Klopp finally have attacking quartet against Spartak Moscow

26 September 2017 - 16:27

After a tumultuous start to the new season, Klopp will hope to gain some stability starting from Liverpool's mid-week clash with Spartak Moscow as he has Salah, Mane, Firmino, and Coutinho all available for the first time this season.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Liverpool's inconsistent start to the season has been largely attributed to the inconsistency of Klopp's squad selection. Phillipe Coutinho's transfer saga with Barcelona stopped him from playing the first few games of the season while Saido Mane's suspension made things harder.

The Red's 3-2 win against Leicester last weekend, their first after four games, was the first showing of Liverpool's potent attack as Coutinho, Firmino and Salah put on a show. Klopp will be able to add to that against Spartak Moscow as Saido Mane joins the squad.

Fans have reason to be excited as the last time they saw all four of them in action was against Bayern Munich in pre-season at the start of August. They ran riot against the German champions and cruised to a 3-0 victory.

While Liverpool's defence is still questionable, already conceding 15 goals this season, Klopp will look forward to his potent attack from his offensive quartet.

Liverpool will miss Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne, who are both recovering from a long-term injury, and Joe Gomez who is suspended for the trip to Moscow.
