Barnsley's reward for knocking Liverpool out of the FA Cup at the weekend is taking on another Premiership giant - Chelsea. Barnsley's last minute goal against Liverpool ensured that the club will be ready to take on Chelsea at Oakwell in the next round.
Rafa Benitez admitted after the Barnsley game: "I don't think that beating Inter Milan would make up for losing the FA Cup tie in the way we did, but it would give everyone a boost if we can get a result on Tuesday."
And now, Barnsley's reward is a visit from Premiership chasing Chelsea.
The Barnsley manager Davey was happy to take on the Blues: "It's not just Didier Drogba - they have a few players like Frank Lampard, John Terry and Joe Cole who can give us nightmares, but we can't wait. It's a fantastic draw.
"We'll fill the stadium for a world-class side, and we have a terrific home record at the moment. The players have to relish it. If you're in the Championship you want the opportunity to play against these sides.
"We are capable of putting on another performance like we did at Anfield. They know they have to do well in the League to play - a lot staked their claim to a place with our League win over West Brom."
