  • The 26-year-old has been regularly linked with the European champions, although the speculation has never materialised into a formal approach.

In an interview with a Belgian outlet, Hazard revealed that it would be a dream to play under Zidane, who was his childhood idol.

The 26-year-old also insisted that he maintains a good relationship with former Blues boss Jose Mourinho, and he is open to the prospect of a reunion.

He told RTL TVI: "Zidane would be a dream to have as a coach, he was my idol when I was little. I have a lot of respect for him. And playing under Jose Mourinho [again] would not bother me."

Despite this, Hazard stressed that he is content with life in the English capital, and he is looking forward to winning more silverware with reigning champions Chelsea.

He added: "At this time, though, I'm happy at Chelsea. I still have a lot of things to do at Chelsea, and I'm focused on Chelsea."

Hazard is currently contracted to the Premier League holders until 2020, but talks are already underway with the player's representatives over a fresh deal worth £300,000-a-week.

The former Lille man has spent the past five years with the west London giants, lifting two Premier League titles, the Europa League and the League Cup.
