ArsenalĀ are reportedly prepared to offer Alexis Sanchez as a makeweight in a proposed deal to sign Julian Draxler from Paris Saint-Germain.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Chile international has been strongly tipped to leave the Gunners in the New Year with the north London club ready to accept a fee of around £30m for his services.

According to The Star, Arsene Wenger is keen to ensure that Sanchez does not join a direct league rival, and he will propose a part-exchange agreement with Les Parisiens involving Draxler.

However, the FA Cup holders are likely to face stiff competition from German champions Bayern Munich, who are said to have earmarked Draxler as a potential replacement for veteran star Franck Ribery.

Meanwhile, long-term suitors Manchester City are expected to revive their interest in Sanchez in January after they failed to convince the Gunners with a £60m plus offer during the summer transfer window.

Sanchez presently has less than eight months left on his Arsenal contract, and both he and Mesut Ozil appear to have decided against signing fresh contracts at the Emirates.
