Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering the prospect of swapping Paul Pogba with Paris Saint-Germain's Marco Verratti during the summer transfer window.
The Frenchman's future has come in question over the past month, and this has seen him in-and-out of the starting lineup under Mourinho, to the extent that he is said to be discontent over his Old Trafford stay.
According to The Independent, Mourinho could sanction the midfielder's departure during the summer, should the club manage to sign Verratti in a straight-swap agreement with Les Parisiens.
Nevertheless, talks are yet to begin between both clubs over the deal, and there is no assurance that the move may go through despite the players sharing the same representative in Mino Raiola.
Manchester United joined Paris Saint-Germain into making an exit in the round of 16 stage of the Champions League after they lost 2-1 on aggregate to Sevilla earlier in the week.
