Arsenal duo on Manchester United's radar?

19 March 2018 - 23:59

Numerous players have made the move between Arsenal and Manchester United in recent years and reports today suggest that two more players could be making the switch, with a duo of The Gunners' first-team stars being targeted by Manchester United.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • The Red Devils will be determined to challenge their local rivals Manchester City for the Premier League title next season after falling a long way short this time around and to do that they will have to have a busy summer in the transfer window.

It is suggested today that both Aaron Ramsey and Hector Bellerin of Arsenal will be of interest to United manager Jose Mourinho when the window opens, which will worry fans of the North London club.

Hector Bellerin is being heavily linked with an exit from The Emirates, with reports of the Spanish defender being unhappy at the club and rumours that Arsene Wenger is planning on using any funds from his sale towards rebuilding his squad.

It is believed that Manchester United have made an initial enquiry about Bellerin, although at this point, Serie A giants Juventus may feel that they are the favourites to land his signature.

With speculation building about Paul Pogba's future at Manchester United, The Sun reports that Mourinho is planning to replace him with Welsh international, Aaron Ramsey.

After a decade with the club, Ramsey, who will shortly enter the last year of his contract, may feel that it is time to move on and Manchester United may offer a great new challenge to him, although Chelsea have also been linked.
