Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale could fancy a Premier League comeback with Manchester United, if Zinedine Zidane remains in-charge of the European champions next season.
The Wales international has been in-and-out of the starting lineup under Zidane since the turn of the year, and this has urged him to consider his long-term future at the Bernabeu.
According to The Mirror, the 28-year-old could weigh up a potential return to the Premier League, if Zidane is not dismissed by the Spanish giants during the off-season.
Should this be the case, Bale is open to reuniting with Jose Mourinho, though United still have to pay up a club-record £90m fee whilst making him the highest paid player at the club.
Despite the speculation, it is yet to be known whether Mourinho would prefer such a deal after having insisted last month that he does not plan on making forward signings during the summer.
