Manchester City make contact with Eden Hazard

Manchester City have reportedly made initial contact with the representatives of Eden Hazard as they seek to lure the Belgian from Chelsea at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has constantly been linked with a Stamford Bridge exit with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain said to be among the main contenders for his signature.

However, according to Don Balon, Pep Guardiola's side appear to have joined the hunt with the Catalan tactician keen on recruiting Hazard after missing out on Alexis Sanchez in January.

It is added that the Premier League toppers have already held some sort of communication with the player's agent as they plan to convince the Blues attacker to move to the Etihad Stadium.

Hazard, who has more than two years left on his Chelsea deal, is expected to make a decision on his future during the summer, with Real Madrid said to be his preferred destination, if he opts for a fresh challenge.
