Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted that the Citizens face a difficult challenge when they take on Liverpool in the Champions League quarter-final first-leg at Anfield.
The Citizens have cruised through this season's Premier League campaign, but their only loss came against Liverpool in a 4-3 defeat on the road.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Guardiola revealed that the Reds' attack is almost unstoppable, especially in their home patch, and he hailed the impact of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
He said: "It's not just Salah. Mane and Firmino, all three, they are almost unstoppable. They're fantastic. We lost a bit of control [in the last meeting]; we were involved in the environment of Anfield.
"The way Liverpool play is so complicated for us. We know that. They are so quick, they are so good and it is tough. But it is the quarter-finals of the Champions League so we cannot expect, at that level, that something is going to be easy."
The Mancunian giants have been tipped to reach the Champions League final this campaign, and their chances may depend on whether they can sustain the Liverpool pressure and achieve a positive result at Anfield.
In between both legs, City have the opportunity of lifting the Premier League crown with a victory over arch-rivals Manchester United, and the fatigue may as well play a role during the quarter-final tie.
