Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has hailed Romelu Lukaku as an important player after the Belgian was named the club's Player of the Month for March.
The Belgium international has been United's most consistent performer since the turn of the year, and Mourinho praised the striker's attitude and character in the leadup to the game.
"Lukaku is an important guy for me. He’s one of the guys I trust. I love his attitude and I love his character," he is quoted as saying by Manchester Evening News.
Lukaku has already notched 26 goals across all competitions this term, and he will be looking to extend this tally further when United face-off against Manchester City in the cross-town derby today.
The Citizens have the opportunity to win the Premier League title with a victory, but they may opt for changes with a view to their European commitments which could even up the game.
