Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is reportedly close to sealing a move to Turkey with Fenerbahce during this summer's transfer window.

  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • The Colombia international has been the Gunners' second choice goalkeeper over the past three seasons and he is now eyeing a new challenge with the club announcing the arrival of Bernd Leno.

According to Turkish Football, Fener president Ali Koc is said to have recently held talks with Gunners officials regarding Ospina and the transfer could be finalised when the keeper returns from the summer World Cup in Russia.

The Gunners have already spent nearly £20m to acquire the signature of Leno from Bayer Leverkusen and they are hoping to recoup part of that sum from the summer sale of Ospina.

Meanwhile, Petr Cech has also been linked with a potential exit from the Emirates Stadium but Unai Emery is said to value the experience of the 36-year-old, who could play deputy to Leno next term.
